The Decretum Gratiani is a book of law written by the Italian monk Gratian that became a standard textbook for law schools. This later edition was edited by Antoine de Mouchy (also known as Antonio Demochare).

Condition Report: Boards with expected age wear including dry cracking and creasing, several long scratches, light rubbing to corners, spine with light wear at head, cracking starting at front joint, and tiny loss at tail; library sticker at front paste-down, cracking at hinges common with binding still sturdy overall; occasional manuscript, foxing, light grime, and small corner losses; title page with stamp and washed ink here and following three pages; pages toned with frequent damp staining along margins and corners.
