17 Flower Items inc. Meissen, Staffordshire, Etc.

A group of 17 porcelain floral items by various designers. The Meissen (German, founded 1710) items include: a vase and matching dish with marks dating from 1860-1924. The Royal Staffordshire (English, founded 1845) item is a rose basket. The Capodimonte (Italian, founded 1743) item is a small flower basket. The Richard Klemm (German, active 1869-1916) item is a Dreseden candlestick. The Doulton (British, active 1882-2004) items include a pair of plates with the hallmark dating them from 1882-1902. Also includes a Continental bud vase featuring flowers and rabbits; a cream and sugar set by Reinhold Schlegelmilch (German, active 1914-1945); a covered jar with a peach finial; a large covered sugar bowl by Abraham French and Co. (American, founded 1879); an unmarked lidded urn; a Japanese satsuma cup with a 3-character mark; a small unmarked cup; a small unmarked covered bowl; and a square vase with an unclear mark.

Dimensions: candlestick- 6 1/2 inches tall X 3 5/8 inches diameter base; 16.5 cm tall X 9.2 cm diameter base. Plates- 8 3/8 inches diameter; 21.3 cm diameter. Rose bowl- 6 7/8 inches wide X 5 1/2 inches tall, 17.5 cm wide X 14 cm tall. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Basket of flowers has missing flowers. Bowl of roses missing section of flowers. Lidded jar with bird inside of lid rim is missing and repair to vessel, cracks and a section repaired. English tea caddie rim repaired. Handled jar with rose lid has lid repairs. The other pieces are in overall good condition.
