The second edition of the author's principal work, which first appeared in three separate volumes between 1625-1637. It is an extensive treatise on the use of unguents (perfumed ointments) in Biblical times. The author treats learnedly on all of the anointings mentioned in Scripture, the oil of the lamp, and the oil of perfumes.
