Richard Newcourt was a 17th-century English historian who is primarily known for his book ‘Repertorium Ecclesiasticum Parochiale Londinense’. This book was one of the most thorough and largest histories of the diocese of London. It was drawn from hundreds of records on the history of St. Paul’s Cathedral, lives of bishops and churchmen, and various other parishes under the diocese.
