1730 1ed SIAM Asia Bangkok WARS Memoirs of Claude Forbin French Navy England 2v

A rare first edition printing of Claude de Forbin’s famous ‘Memoirs’. Forbin was a celebrated French naval commander who is remembered for his diplomatic endeavors in East Asia. He became the governor of Bangkok and was appointed general in the Siamese army.
