July 17, 1756-Dated deed of land sale from Samuel Mun to Ebenezer Graves measuring 8" x 13" complete. This Deed is for land in Greenfield, in the County of Hampshire in the Province of Massachusetts Bay. Greenfield was designated the county seat of Franklin County, when the county was created from Hampshire County in 1811. This deed is clean and pleasing condition, boldly printed on laid period paper and fully completed with just some standard light folds and retains the fully intact red Wax and Paper Seal next to the signature. The 2021 Scott Stamp catalog ERP4 is scarce, listed at $700. The Embossed Tax Stamp "Sailing Ship" is clearly visible along with its "IV*PENCE" tax payment value.
