The Agronomist, or lAlbert Moderne, was a highly desirable book of advice on gardening, animal breeding, veterinary medicine, hunting, and cooking recipes. The title of this edition suggests the influence of Albert, or Albertus Magnus, a medieval friar who became well-known for his writings of secrets of the world on alchemy, astronomy, physiology, theology, and much, much more.
