“George Steevens editions superseded all previous editions and became the standard for future editors and publishers."
This 1798 edition is extremely desirable, and in addition to the famed plays of Shakespeare, it includes a ‘life of Shakespeare’ by Rowe. This edition also includes notes and glossary by John Nichols.
