Italian circa late 17th century oil on canvas of a landscape vista with village. Similar to Dutch Baroque Italianate veduta artists, but no visible signature. Artist unknown. Measures 15-1/2" x 21-1/4".
Condition: Decent condition for age. Relined likely circa 1900 on later stretchers. Multiple older conservations plus heavy mellowed varnish and surface dirt, areas of scratches. Flaking areas lower right, scattered scuffs. Wear and cracking at far and side edges. Would benefit from professional restoration. Unframed.
