Spanish, 17th century. Carved and partial gilded double handled walnut tabletop vargueno or bargueno iron bound cabinet having ten floral painted bone inlaid drawers with Solomonic columns, flanking a central door with scrolledpediment detail, that opens to reveal three additional drawers, rising on bun feet. Unmarked. Approx. h. 25", w. 39.5", d. 14.25".
Condition Report: Back panel is replaced; one column is chipped and detached but present; previous worming activity; finials on pediment door detail not present; key fits door only; pleasing wear to gilding.
