Oil on canvas depicts a man wearing a ruff, depicted in 3/4 length, shown standing beside a table with a crown on top of it. Possibly a portrait of Charles I. No apparent signature, but in the manner of Michiel Jansz. van Mierevelt, Dutch, 1567-1641. Lined, some restoration/touch ups, craquelure, some losses around the edges. Image is 32 1/4" x 42 1/2" high, within a 19th century frame with some losses and damage, 39 1/2" x 49 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $1,000-2,000
