Women's ring, Art Deco, 1940s, Northern Italy, 18 kt yellow and white gold (hallmark inside the band) , with marquise cut ruby and 12 small diamonds. Splendid example of Italian goldsmith art of the 20th century, unique piece, handmade. Excellent condition: some signs of use, no damage, no signs of restoration, the ring has been ultrasonically cleaned to remove dirt but has never been brushed so it retains its original finishes. *The gold was tested with professional tools. The carat weight of the stones has been measured with a professional gauge, without dismantling the piece of jewellery, so it must be considered approximate.
