Colour: Depending on the quality from deep pink to bright bright The colour of the Japanese coral is not uniform therefore it isn't uncommon to find fronds that begin with the colour red at the base turning to white. Another unusual aspect is that all Japanese coral has white veins all over the head from the base right up to the end of the smallest frond (Italians call it the soul) .
