This French Military Pattern AN XIII Flintlock Pistol has an 8", .70 caliber smooth-bore barrel dated "1807" next to an inspector marks on the left side of breech. The lock is marked, "Mre Imp de St. Etienne". This Pistol is in its original flintlock configuration. All parts have inspector's marks. The stock is solid with light scratches and dings from use. This pattern was the primary pistol used by the French cavalry (1805-1815). This Pistol is in good mechanical working order.
