1820 Country French Armoire

NOT ELIGIBLE FOR IN HOUSE SHIPPING. Early 19th Century French Oak Armoire: Two raised panel doors, each decorated with fleur de lis panels; removable molded cornice fitting over a frieze of floral carving with trailing vines; each side is comprised of two panels ending in cabriole legs. Interior fitted with one original shelf with hook latch in the center. Hinges and key of hand wrought ferrous metal. The piece is pegged together and the doors can be reversed. Circa 1820. Purchased 1985 in London. 62" wide X 25" deep X 91-1/4" high. Has some scratches. Some panels and joints starting to split.
