Fashionable couple enjoying the sunset. Apparently unsigned. Panel with old framer's label verso. In later 19th century frame. Dimensions: (Frame) H 25.5" x W 31.5", (Panel) H 18" x W 24.75" Condition: Panel slightly trimmed on left and right sides. Very fine striations to the panel with old varnish. Some bitumen pigment in the shadows.
