1833. BOOK: (EXECUTORY). FERNANDEZ DE CASTRO, DON MARIANO: [WEAPONS AND COATS OF ARMS CORRESPONDING TO THE CASA BALEZ GOICOECHEA, DURAN AND GALARZA]. All the handwritten work on vellum and vellum paper in 4th major. Large heraldic shield decorated by hand and on vellum + 40 h. manuscripts with the text in double border in red ink + a family tree on double page vellum. Each surname introduced by a coat of arms or a hand-decorated title. All the pages are presided over by the inked seal of Ferdinand VII with the date 1833 and the dry seal of the king with his bust on the left. Written by H.M.'s chronicler and king of arms, this letter also has the addition of an etching in which Goya portrays Gumersinda Goicoechea (one of the surnames on this letter of arms), apparently the painter's daughter-in-law. Enc. in full skin, with golden threads and dry irons in both planes and the eyebrows, golden cuts.
