1836 RARE War of 1812 Paris Davis Native American INDIANS Algiers Illustrated

Paris Davis’s ‘Authentic History of the Late War’ is an early 19th-century treatise on War of 1812. First published in 1829, Davis’s account is notable, not just for its contents on the war but also for descriptions of American battles and treatise with Native American Indians.

This 1836 edition is a reissue of the original 1829 printing; however, the first edition was not printed with illustrations. This issue includes four full-page views of battle scenes and ships.
