Engraved in script on the reverse "Pte William Johnson / 2nd Queen's Royals." A slightly different type than the previous lot, without the broad rim around both sides. Polished and brilliant, with traces of lacquer. Scattered nicks are seen on both sides.
The 2nd Queen's Royals, an infantry regiment, is also known as the 2nd Regiment of Foot.
