1850s Japanese Scroll Painting Hawk Samurai House (Fuj)
Item: Up for sale from a recent estate in Honolulu Hawaii, this 1850 Japanese painting on paper that was mounted as a scroll depicting a Hawk a bird of prey that would have been owned and displayed in the house of a Samurai. Measurements:
Painting 51 inches x 21.5 inches
Condition: The item is overall in acceptable pre-owned condition, there are old repairs in places, there is also a bug hole in the upper part of the painting, an Asian Arts appraiser inspected and described the piece, he thought that this may have been one panel and probably came from the house of a Samurai
