1854-D $5 Large D AU58 NGC. Variety 37-BB. Four die marriages exist for the 1854-D half eagle, but a majority are Variety 36-AA, which features a high mintmark placement. On Variety 37-BB, the variety is lower and placed further east, touching the branch stem. This peach-gold Borderline Uncirculated Dahlonega type coin displays substantial luster.
