1855 1C Upright 55, N-4, R.1, MS66 Red PCGS. Ex: D.L. Hansen Collection. Grellman Die State a. Splendid orange-red color and vibrant cartwheel luster attest to the quality of this high-grade large cent. Glimpses of olive-green are noted near OF and the coronet tip. The strike is bold except on star 5, and minor mint-made strike-throughs are seen below the chin and above the N in ONE. A loupe reveals only infrequent pinpoint carbon.
