Clash marks found on both sides and the 8 in the date is weakly struck at the top. a few stray hairlines in the fields could have held it back from a higher grade. The survival rate of uncirculated Type 2 Gold Dollars was not high but the Baltimore Basement Hoard of 1934 had 215 uncirculated Type 2 dollars Auction for the benefit of Catholic Relief Services overseas emergency relief programs
