An 1861 United States postage stamp Scott #63. This United States one cent postage stamp issued in 1861 features a portrait of Benjamin Franklin facing right with the denomination in both corners above and the “U” and “S” in the corners below. The postage stamp retains the gummed material to the back and is presented in a protective sleeve.
