1870 25C Standard Silver Quarter, Judd-918, Pollock-1022, Low R.7, PR66 PCGS. The obverse exhibits a bust of Liberty facing right with the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the upper border. Liberty wears a ribbon inscribed LIBERTY, and the motto IN GOD WE TRUST is on a scroll near the lower border. The reverse displays the denomination 25 CENTS within a wreath of laurel and oak. STANDARD SILVER is at the top, the date 1870 is below. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. Rich blue and golden-rose toning is seen over each side with strong, flashy mirrors in the fields.
