1870's Ohio Stars Quilt, Early Brown Fabrics

This ELEGANT cotton 1870's Ohio stars quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with a variety of early brown fabrics.
It measures 66" X 78" and is in excellent condition, with the occasional age spot and no wear.

There are straight line and braided designs quilted throughout at 8-9 stitches to the inch.

The back and hand stitched, rolled binding are early brown prints, and the batting is thin.

The pics just don't do justice to this 19th century COLLECTOR'S QUILT -- it's much nicer in real life!
