1872 MAGIC Antonio Blitz Fifty Years Salem Witch Trial
1872 MAGIC Antonio Blitz Fifty Years Salem Witch Trial Magicians Conjuring
Antonio Blitz was one of the best magicians of the 19th century. He worked mainly in Europe and the United States focusing on magic, trained birds’ antics, and ventriloquism. Early in his career he did the dangerous bullet catch with his teeth but stopped it considering it to be too dangerous. He even performed in a Fourth of July parade in front of Abraham Lincoln making his son laugh by pulling an egg out of his mouth. Blitz was buried in New York in the same cemetery as Houdini.
