1873 T$1 Trade Dollar, Judd-1281, Pollock-1423, R.4, PR61 PCGS. The J. A. Bailly obverse features a coiled hair bust of Liberty facing left. The reverse mimics the "Amazonian" pattern silver dollar, save for a reduction in the size of the eagle and the addition of statutory legends above and the weight and below. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. Dappled gold and iridescent toning appear on the reflective proof surfaces of this lovely pattern that displays slight cameo contrast.
