More Information
The map exhibits significant and widespread foxing and brown damp staining across the entire surface, most notably visible in the central and right-hand sections (photos 1 and 2). The paper shows heavy cockling and waving throughout, likely due to historical moisture exposure (photos 2 and 6). A distinct liquid stain affects the bottom-left corner near the Timber Yard area (photo 7). The brown fabric tape at the margins shows fraying and wear at the corners (photo 1). Several small creases and surface abrasions are present across the sheet. Despite the staining, all printed text and cartographic details remain legible.
