1880 1ed Refutation of Darwinism Charles Darwin EVOLUTION Science Natural Selection

“One general law, leading to the advancement of all organic beings, namely, multiply, vary, let the strongest live and the weakest die.”

― Charles Darwin, The Origin of Species

During the 19th-century, few scientists had the last impact of theories and discoveries regarding natural evolution than that of Charles Darwin. However, there were many still that opposed his views and theoretical concepts. T Warren O’Neill was one such figure who wrote a book entitled ‘The Refutation of Darwinism’. In this book, O’Neill describes Darwin’s evolutionary theories, but focuses heavily on the ‘fallacies of Darwin’s arguments’ as he states in Chapter 5. He points out at one point that these views are ‘evil’.
