1889-CC $20 XF45 PCGS. Variety 1-A. No coins were produced at the Carson City Mint from 1886 to 1888. The Nevada Mint resumed coinage operations in 1889, striking silver dollars and double eagles in limited quantities. Those two 1889-CC issues remain among the most popular Carson City dates in both series to this day. Rich orange-gold color displays olive-gold overtones on this Choice XF 1889-CC twenty.
