After an original design by Carl Faberge for the Russian Royal Family, 1898 Pelican Imperial Royal trinket jewel box egg. Enamel & gilt over pewter with embedded Austrian crystals. The egg opens at center, with magnetic closure, to reveal an enameled interior for storing trinkets or jewels. The pelican topped egg also lifts away from its tri-footed gilt stand. 3 1/2" H ( with stand ) 3" H ( without stand ) X 1 1/2" D. Comes with gift box.
