18C Kris Dagger Jeweled Gold Silver Handle
Important circa 18th-19th century Balinese silver and gold jeweled figural kris (keris) dagger handle, representing Bali's Hindu elephant deity, Ganesh (Ganesha). Set with large black gemstone cabochons around base, and several ruby cabochons. Ornate gold accents, including a thick buckle of gold at the belly -- gold is at least 18k, and not plated or overlay. Incredible detail. Measures 7-3/8" long and weighs 512 grams.
