18K+ Gold Earrings w/ Roman Bronze Amulets & Garnets
Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A lovely pair of cast-bronze pendants with fan-shaped bodies, a lower cylindrical protrusion with incised rings, and a slender protrusion on top with a perforated suspension loop. Modern 14K gold wires are presented within the rings of each lower cylinder, and the circular 18K+ gold pin bodies each feature a faceted, fuchsia-hued rhodolite garnet. A wearable set of earrings that is sure to accentuate any ensemble! Size of each bronze pendant (both are relatively similar): 0.4" W x 1" H (1 cm x 2.5 cm); total weight: 7.6 grams; quality of gold: 82.6% (equivalent to 18K+).
