French, late 18th century. Louis XVI neoclassical parcel gilt long foot stool, having the original Aubusson tapestry upholstery, rod and ribbon carving, rosette corner blocks, and rising on tapering fluted legs. Unmarked. Approx. h. 6.75", w. 25.25", d. 6.25".
Condition Report: Wear and darkening to upholstery; scattered chips and wear to finish; one rosette not present; previous restorations near legs; frame is structurally sound.
