French, circa 1760. Provincial Louis XV walnut serpentine form commode in the rococo taste, having a marble top, two-drawers with bronze dore handles, and rising on cabriole legs with whorl feet. Stamped "Adam" to the top of the case. Approx. h. 32", w. 36.5", d. 18.5".
Condition Report: Structurally sound. Marble top likely newer to piece. Overall with light surface scratches, commensurate with use. Small scattered fleabites to marble---not distracting. No apparent cracks to wood.
