Featuring five salt spoons: one from a set of five by P.L. Krider (Philadelphia, USA, 1850-1910), one by John Fries (Philadelphia, USA, 1830-74), one by (Albert Coles, New York, USA, 1835-77), one by Henry Drayton Wolcott, (Boston, USA, 1820-27) and one by Duhme & Co. (Cincinnati, USA, 1844-96).
Three mustard ladles: one by Bigelow, Bros & Kennard (Boston, USA, 1847-67), one by Joseph Hills Washburn (Boston, USA, c. 1850) and one by J. Bachmann of (New York, USA, c. 1830).
Two sugars spoons: one by Samuel E. Young & Co. (Laconia, USA, c. 1840), and one by Phinney & Mead (Montpelier, USA, 1849-57).
Approximately 160 pieces total including 112 salt spoons, 27 mustard ladles, 12 sugar spoons with shell bowls and 9 shovel sugar spoons of various makes, sizes and decoration. 53 ozt.
Condition Report: Some various makers include; William Bateman I of London, James Guthre of Wilmington, John Turner of Birmingham, Gorham Manufacturing Company of Providence, Joseph Seymour of Syracuse, Erastus Cook of Rochester and John & Henry Lias of London. Wear and dents commensurate with age and use. A few examples with considerably more wear. A few sterling silver examples. Mostly American, but some British and other World examples.
