18th C. Carved Oak Bible Box With Lock

English or Continental, 18th century. Carved oak bible box or small trunk having a foliate pattern, iron drop fork lock and key and rising on a scalloped base. Possibly signed with a triangle. Approx. h. 15", w. 27.25", d. 13.75".
Condition Report: Inactive worming/beetle activity with damage to lid; some joint separation at lid and base; lid is partially attached and has water stains; crack to cornice, case is stable and pleasantly aged.
