18th C Japanese Wakizashi sword
Excellent blade wakizashi saber with original polishing, hamon or hardening mark clearly visible. Original Koshirae (garrison, hilt and scabbard set). Tsuka or handle covered with shark skin or galuchat, with black silk ito. Tsuba or handguard in black iron. Saya or lacquered sheath with some flaws. Keep the Kogatana (small knife placed in the handguard). Japan, 17th-18th century.
