DESCRIPTION: A Large German Silver Tankard/Stein features alternating silver and parcel gilt tones, topped with a Bavarian lion and shield finial, further decorated along the body with ornate etched patterns and repousse putti angel motifs. Stamped along the underside with Hallmarks Reading "N" "R" and unidentified stamps. Total Weight: 1,650 Grams, Provenance: Tagged with Sotheby's New York Sticker Lot [287].
