An 18th century Continental fan, with mother of pearl sticks and guard sticks, possibly Dutch, the monrure squelette of mother of pearl encrusted with silver foil. The paper leaf is hand painted in the romantic style circa 1770, with figures playing musical instruments surrounded by garlands of flowers, approx 52 x 27 cms.
