Late 18th century walnut drop front desk. Opens to reveal drawers and letter compartments, case of three drawers with fluted carvings at left and right sides, shaped skirt, all over four turned legs. 44 x 40 x 19.25 inches. Provenance: The Estate of Paul G. Benedum, Jr., Western Pennsylvania.
Condition Report: Writing surface scratched and cracked. Accretions to drop front slide supports and at brass pulls. Key missing for desk and drawers. Replaced feet, replaced interior center door, other repairs and replacements throughout. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
