18th Century Luneville Faience Recumbent Lion. The lion moulded recumbant; head raised; tail curled over rear loins. The body with turquoise glaze on blue plinth. Enamelled blue-black hair; eyes and pink nose. The flat, rectangular base glazed in medium blue enamel.
