Moulded shaped oblong, with stepped rim, painted with gold band to rim, and floral sprigs and sprays to the sides and the lower third of the face; the well with slender gilt band enclosing a well-painted full vedutta style view of two figures by a river, admiring a castle and an extensive town-scape in polychrome enamels. The painting attributed to Joseph Keltner. Impressed shield mark; an O to the side of the shield and four dots under the shield and O. Nymphenburg , Greater Munich, Germany. Circa 1770 2" H. x 16 7/8" L. x 13" W. By descent from the Kaumheimer family, Stuttgart, Germany. Five short firing cracks or firing flaws to the interior foot rim Minor gilding wear.
