This is a original 19th century oil on canvas painting by listed Italian artist Grilotti done by 1880's signed by the artist on the lower left. This painting shows a mother who brought her son to enroll at the class offering the teacher a basket filled with a bottle of wine a duck e.t.c. It shows the teacher deciding if its a sweet deal for him. This piece was purchased from the gallery in Beverly Hills 30 years ago. Measures 19.7" by 23.7" and 14.2" by 18.2" unframed. It comes wit its original 19th century hand carved frame.
