A rare and elegant looking English Sterling Silver Flatware Cutlery part set in very good condition.
The set comprises of 6 dinner spoons, 6 dinner forks, 6 dessert or starter forks, 6 small dessert or large teaspoons, a serving spoon and a sauce ladle. There are 26 items in total. The cutlery is decorated in a feather edge border and the handle has a shield cartouche with foliage top and bottom. The shield has an engraved letter L. The reverse of the cutlery is hallmarked with the Sheffield Assay Office Crown mark and the date stamp for 1900. The maker’s details are the renowned silversmiths Walker & Hall of Sheffield.
