1903 Imperial German Mauser model C96 Prewar Commercial variant 7.63x25mm semi-automatic pistol. Matching serial number on frame, barrel, and back of wrist. Right side of frame is marked "Waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf A. Neckar". Imperial German proof marks Crown over "U" present on frame and barrel. Rear grip fitted for holster/stock. 32 Ribbed walnut grips. Blued finish, adjustable rear sight. Lanyard loop. Birmingham Nitro proof mark present on frame, barrel, and receiver. Under barrel is marked "7.63MM 12 Tons Pero" with British proof mark next to it.
