1907 $20 MS65 PCGS. The year 1907 was transitional for the double eagle design, seeing the climax of Longacre's regal Liberty Head and the exposition of Saint-Gaudens' neoclassical masterpiece. This Gem final-year Liberty Head coin displays satiny luster across orange-gold surfaces and bold devices. It is scarce in this grade, and no numerically finer pieces are known. We have previously handled 1907 Liberties in this grade on only 17 occasions, just a few of which were in recent years. Housed in a first generation "rattler" holder.
