1908 $5 MS66 NGC. The Mint introduced Bela Lyon Pratt's Indian Head half eagle in 1908, but the Liberty Head design was produced for a limited time to the extent of 421,874 pieces that year. This Premium Gem example displays a sharp strike and frosty reddish-gold luster with no significant abrasions. Examples are scarce in this grade and rare finer.
