1908 International Harvester Autowagon
No Reserve. This rare and charming 1908 International Harvester Autowagon is one of America's earliest production light trucks, featuring a handsome natural-varnished wooden body with open cargo bed, single wooden bench seat, black front panel bearing the classic gold "IH" monogram, and matching black cylindrical fuel tank. Bright red artillery-style wooden spoked wheels shod in solid rubber tires, red-painted chassis and undercarriage, dual chain drive, and the original-style horizontally opposed air-cooled twin-cylinder engine (approximately 18-20 hp) complete this high-wheeler's authentic farm-to-market character, offering excellent ground clearance and period-correct mechanical simplicity. A solid older restoration that still presents beautifully, this early IHC high-wheeler is a scarce and historically significant piece of American automotive and agricultural heritage, ideal for the collector seeking a distinctive, display-ready survivor from the dawn of the motorized truck era.
